At Vippa, on the site of the former Vippetangen ferry station, you can eat tasty food from all over the world. This large hall is home to several small permanent and guest stalls selling food, drink and snacks, so there’s plenty to choose from. There’s lots of room for strollers too. Round off your international meal with something sweet and take a walk along the harbor.

If you’ve ever been to Thailand and are longing for some tom yum soup and sandy beaches, then just take the next streetcar to Yaya’s. There’s plenty of flavor packed between the bread here and an excellent range of accompaniments. They’re also well known for catering to the little ones too. Something to drink? Why not try a chocolate fudge milkshake? If that sounds a bit too calorific for your liking, there are healthier options available. Kverneriet has three restaurants: One at Henriks Ibsens gate 100 on Solli plass square, one in Tønsberg and one in Majorstuen. The whole family will have a great time here. Guaranteed.
